First winter DII and DIII Learfield Directors' Cup Standings Released|

Grand Valley State amassed four top-15 finishes in the winter championships to date, tallying 301.50 points in the first half of the winter standings. Washington-St. Louis maintains its lead in DIII after capturing the women’s indoor track and field title and finishing 17th in the men’s indoor track and field championship.
The RMAC leads all Division II conferences in the top 10 with three institutions – Colorado School of Mines (3rd), Adams State (5th) and Western State (CO) (10th).
In Division III, Williams jumped from 10th to second in the first set of winter rankings with 460.25 points, tallying points in women’s and men’s indoor track and field (4th and 12th), skiing (12th) and wrestling (33rd). Tufts is in third with 451.00 points, after scoring in both the men’s and women’s indoor track and field championships. Johns Hopkins is in fourth with 443.50 points, placing 14th in men’s indoor track and field and 27th in the women’s championship. Wisconsin Whitewater rounds out the top five with 425.25 points after a four spot jump from eighth in the final fall standings. The Warhawks scored in all three winter championships to date, 3rd in men’s indoor track and field, 13th in wrestling and 41st in women’s indoor track and field.
The NESCAC leads all Division III conferences in the top 10 with three institutions – Tufts (2nd), Williams (5th) and Middlebury (8th).
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
The next Division II & III fall standings will be released Thursday, March 30.
