CLEVELAND – The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) have elected Patrick Britz, commissioner of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) as President for the 2017-18 year.
"It is an honor to be able to serve as the next President of the D2 CCA,” said Britz. “Our group has helped guide Division II to new heights and I look forward to continuing the positive work that benefits thousands of student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans. The D2 CCA is committed to provide leadership in this very challenging time of intercollegiate athletics and it is a privilege to work alongside the other outstanding men and women that are part of the association."
Britz will take over for Past President Robert Dranoff, who served for 2016-17. In addition to Britz, the following commissioners will serve as Officers for 2017-18. Julie Ruppert, Northeast-10 Conference, will serve as 1st Vice President; Erin Lind, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, will serve as 2nd Vice President; and Alan Patterson, Conference Carolinas, will serve as Secretary/Treasurer.
