Dave Evans, San Diego Mesa College, West Region Since 1997, Dave Evans has been the dean of the school of physical education, health, dance and athletics as well as director of athletics at San Diego Mesa College, the second largest community college in California. The College boasts 20 intercollegiate sports (10 women's and 10 men's). Evans began his professional career at his alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University where he served as a physical education/health instructor and football coach for 10 years. In 1983, Evans began teaching physical education at Missouri Southern State College, before moving to San Diego City College (SDCC) for seven years. At SDCC, he served as the director of athletics and a professor of physical education. Evans is currently the First Vice President of the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletics Administrators (NATYCAA). He is also a member of the Association of California Community College Administrators, and American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. From 1995-96 and 2004-05 he served as the Pacific Coast Conference president. That same year, Evans was named the president of the California State Athletics Director's Association after serving as the Vice President in 2003-04.

Carl Heinrich, Johnson County Community College, Central Region The leader behind one of the nation's more successful athletics programs, Carl Heinrich is in his eighth season as athletics director at Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Heinrich has been associated with Johnson County, either as a coach or administrator since the fall of 1991. He oversees a 39-year-old department that now fields 18 varsity sports. During his tenure at JCCC, the Cavaliers have claimed six of the school's eight National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championships, 36 NJCAA Region VI titles and 41 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Eastern Division titles. Under Heinrich, a total of 86 teams have earned NJCAA National Tournament berths, with 31 finishing among the top-five nationally. Three hundred and fourteen athletes have garnered NJCAA All-America accolades. In addition, Johnson County student-athletes have earned 76 NJCAA Academic All-America accolades and nearly 60 percent of the student-athletes at JCCC maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Heinrich is currently the 2nd Vice President of the National Alliance of Two Year College Athletics Administrators, and previously served three years at the association's treasurer. He also serves on the Executive Committee for NACDA.

Robert McKenney, Onondaga Community College, Northeast Region Robert McKenney has been at the helm of Onondaga Community College athletics, fitness and intramurals since 1999. Under McKenney, the Onondaga athletics department has grown to include four men's and four women's sports. In 2006-07, Onondaga had 15 all-conference players; 3 coaches recognized as Conference Coach of The Year; 31 all-region" players; three regional players of the year; a regional coach of the year; eight all-americans; two national players of the year; and a national coach of the year. In total, Onondaga has had 67 all-conference, 111 all-region and 19 student-athletes earning all-america status. Under McKenney, over 60 percent of Onondaga athletes go on to compete at the next level, and 34% of those receive a scholarship. McKenney also played a key role in the creation of the Annual Athletic Awards Banquet and the Athletics Hall of Fame. McKenney earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from St. Lawrence University followed by his master's degree in education from the University of Vermont. Prior to his role at Onondaga, McKenney was in sales after leaving his career as a primary school teacher and administrator.

Diane Schumacher, Howard Community College, Southeast Region Diane Schumacher came to Howard Community College (HCC) in 1999 with a mission to improve the college's athletics profile and sports programs. Under her leadership, HCC's athletics facilities have been upgraded to include superior playing fields, which are frequently used to host tournaments, most recently the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DIII Track and Field Nationals in May 2007. The college's expanded and enhanced athletics programs have produced teams that have placed in the national top-10, achieved regional, district and conference championships, as well as All-Academic teams, All-American and All-Region performers and award winning coaches. Schumacher was named the 2007 National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA)/CC Administrator of the Year at the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) convention. In addition, Schumacher was the first American player, male or female, elected into the International Softball Federation Hall of Fame. She is a member in the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) National Hall of Fame, the State of Connecticut ASA National Hall of Fame and the Halls of Fame of Springfield College and Cathedral High School in Massachusetts. Schumacher is a member of NACWAA, NJCAA and NACDA.
