CEFMA Announces Officer and Board of Directors Update

Cleveland, Ohio -- The Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) announced today that University of Dayton Senior Associate Athletics Director Tim O'Connell has been named 3rd vice president and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Assistant Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator Barb Bolich has replaced O'Connell on the Board of Directors.

toO'Connell joins CEFMA President Steve Adams, assistant athletics director - internal operations at Wake Forest University; Andrea Williams, associate commissioner, Big Ten Conference, 1st vice president; and Mike Bujol, associate athletics director, University of New Orleans, 2nd vice president. Bridget Belgiovine, director of athletics/chair physical education and recreation, Wellesley College stepped down as 1st vice president at the end of 2008.BarbBolich

Bolich joins Jeanne Boyd, managing director of the Division I men's basketball championship, NCAA; Donyale Canada, director of sport services, Conference USA; Brett Hickman, assistant athletics director - event management & facilities, Wake Forest University; Michael Kelly, associate commissioner, Atlantic Coast Conference; Lisa Sweany, senior associate athletics director, Grand Valley State University; and John David Wicker, associate athletics director - event & facility operations, Washington State University on the Board of Directors.

CEFMA will hold its Inaugural Convention on June 17-18 at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort. The Convention precedes the 44th Annual National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention which takes place from June 18-21 at the same site. Orlando Magic Senior Vice President Pat Williams will serve as the Association's Keynote Speaker on June 17.
