College Athletic Business Management Association Names 3rd VP

Cleveland, Ohio – The members of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) Executive Committee have announced that Stacy Martin, senior associate athletics director and chief operating officer at San Jose State University, will take over as the 3rd Vice President.

Jeanette Shoecraft of the University of Cincinnati notified the Executive Committee that she would be stepping down as 1st Vice President. As written in the CABMA Constitution, the vacant position of Vice President shall be filled in order of ascending office. Frank Hardymon, associate athletics director/chief financial officer at Georgia Tech will now serve as 1st Vice President and Ross Cobb, associate director of athletics/business operations at the University of Texas at San Antonio moves into the 2nd Vice President slot for the 2008-09 year.

Hardymon will be responsible for 2009 Convention planning and Cobb will serve as the primary liaison for exhibitor and sponsor relationships. Cobb will also be designated as CABMA’s treasurer.
