July 12, 2017

CLEVELAND - The members of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) have selected Michael Boele, senior associate athletics director and CFAO at UC Riverside, to serve as President for 2017-18.

"I would like to thank the CABMA membership and the Executive Committee for this honor as well as Omar Banks, past president, for his leadership this past year," said Boele. "I am excited to lead CABMA during the 2017-18 year and give back to an organization which has taught me a lot, opened doors, and connected me with individuals from coast-to-coast. CABMA just completed its most successful year in history with membership topping 875, convention attendance of over 270, a sold out exhibit hall, and a partnership with CEFMA/MOAA for convention programming."

In addition to Boele, CABMA elected Yulander Wells, senior associate athletics director for finance and CFO at the University of South Florida, as 1st Vice President; Sharon Brummell, senior associate athletics director for business & finance and SWA at Georgetown University, as 2nd Vice President; and Brandi Bryant, director of athletics business operations at Austin Peay State University as 3rd Vice President to the executive committee for 2017-18.
