Cleveland, Ohio - The College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) announced its 2008 award winners at its 2008 Convention, which was held June 6-9 in Dallas.

Andy Platt, Director of Event Management at Virginia, was named the Association's Rookie of the Year; Kevin Cleary, Editor and General Manager of Collegiate Directories, Inc. was honored with an Associate Member Service Award; Mike King, retired associate AD/finance, Brigham Young University received the George Eldridge Distinguished Service Award; and Clayton Hamilton, Associate AD, Business, University of Colorado and Russ Sharp, Associate AD/Finance Administration, West Virginia University, were both honored as CABMA Managers of the Year.  Congratulations to each of these award winners for their achievements and service to CABMA.
