College Athletic Business Management Association Announces 2008 Award Winners

Cleveland, Ohio - The College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) announced its 2008 award winners at its 2008 Convention, which was held June 6-9 in Dallas. Andy Platt, Director of Event Management at Virginia, was named the Association's Rookie of the Year; Kevin Cleary, Editor and General Manager of Collegiate Directories, Inc. was honored with an Associate Member Service Award; Mike King, retired associate AD/finance, Brigham Young University received the George Eldridge Distinguished Service Award; and Clayton Hamilton, Associate AD, Business, University of Colorado and Russ Sharp, Associate AD/Finance Administration, West Virginia University, were both honored as CABMA Managers of the Year. Congratulations to each of these award winners for their achievements and service to CABMA. Join CABMA at its 59th Annual Convention, June 15-18, 2009 at the World Center Marriott Resort, Orlando, Florida.
