CLEVELAND – Borden Perlman Insurance Agency has signed on to become a corporate sponsor of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA), the Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) and the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA).

This partnership is a multi-year agreement that will provide numerous recognition opportunities to Borden Perlman during the 2010 and 2011 NACDA and Affiliates Conventions.

“We think Borden Perlman’s long association with the Dll ADA has been a beneficial partnership for both,” said Kelly Myers of Borden Perlman. “Expanding our corporate sponsorship to include CABMA Scholarship Awards and the FCS ADA membership stipends allows us to make a difference with these organizations as well. Our goal is to always provide the best insurance and cost containment strategies with Borden Perlman Health Advocate (BPHA) and we are thrilled that NACDA has provided the opportunity for us to share our success.”

Borden Perlman will be the official sponsor of five CABMA Scholarship Awards, which are available annually to first time Convention attendees. The scholarship covers the cost of Convention registration and travel expenses, and will be renamed the Borden Perlman Insurance Scholarship Awards.

The DII ADA and Borden Perlman are in the seventh year of their sponsorship, teaming up to provide up to six Division II directors of athletics with a stipend to attend the NACDA Convention each June. The stipend includes the registration fee and monies to offset the cost of lodging. The stipends will continue to be named the Borden Perlman Insurance Professional Development Grant.

The FCS ADA sponsorship includes up to 24 membership stipends awarded to senior level FCS administrators that meet the requirements. The stipend includes the registration fee and monies to offset the cost of lodging at the NACDA Convention. The stipends will be named the Borden Perlman Insurance Professional Development Grant.

“We want to thank Borden Perlman for continuing its sponsorship with the DII ADA and are happy that they’ve found other associations under the NACDA umbrella to partner with,” stated DII ADA President Ed Matejkovic, director of athletics at West Chester University. “The stipends allow each of our associations the opportunity to give back to our membership and we thank Borden Perlman for its continued support of our educational efforts.”
