CLEVELAND – For the fifth straight year, the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) has awarded five scholarships to first-time Convention attendees. The scholarships are sponsored by the Borden Perlman Insurance Agency.

The Borden Perlman Insurance Scholarship covers the registration fee and travel expenses for a member to attend the 2011 CABMA Convention which takes place Monday-Thursday, June 13-16 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Fla. Register by May 16 to take advantage of the early bird Convention rate.

“On behalf of CABMA I want to thank Borden Perlman for sponsoring these scholarships and congratulate this year’s recipients,” said CABMA President Ross Cobb, senior associate athletics director/business and facilities at the University of Texas San Antonio. “Our Association is pleased to help support first time Convention attendees and looks forward to continuing this initiative in the future.”

Megan Parker - University of Tennessee Chattanooga

Elizabeth Knips - Brown University
