CABMA Announces Borden Perlman Scholarship Recipients
April 26, 2012 CLEVELAND - For the sixth straight year, the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) has awarded five scholarships to first-time Convention attendees. The scholarships are sponsored by the Borden Perlman Insurance Agency. The Borden Perlman Insurance Scholarship covers the registration fee and travel expenses for a member to attend the 2012 CABMA Convention, which takes place Friday-Monday, June 22-25 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas. "CABMA would like to congratulate this year's Borden Perlman Scholarship recipients," stated CABMA President Stacy Martin, assistant athletics director - business at Kansas State University. "We had an extensive pool of candidates that applied for the scholarship and sincerely want to thank Borden Perlman for helping support our Association's education initiatives by sponsoring these stipends. Our Association looks forward to continuing to support first time Convention attendees via this initiative in the future."
