I am interested in compiling information in regards to regular season basketball tournaments. For those institutions that host a men's and/or women's basketball regular season tournament, I was wondering if you would be able to provide me with the following information:
Cash guarantee for each visiting team?
Do you provide hotel rooms? If so, how many rooms and for how many nights?
Do you provide ground transportations for those teams that fly to your site?
Cost of participant gifts?
Cost of coaches gifts, if different from participant gifts?
At UW-Green Bay we host a women's basketball Thanksgiving tournament and a men's basketball holiday tournament around the end of December . The costs associated with each of these tournaments are as follows:
Women's Basketball
Cash guarantee $5,000 per team
Lodging 10 rooms for 3 nights per team
Participant gifts budget $65 per person
Coaches gifts budget $100 per person
Men's Basketball
Cash guarantee $5,000 per team
Lodging 10 rooms for 3 nights per team
Ground transportation provide local ground transportation (coach bus) for teams that fly to Green Bay
Participant gifts budget $65 per person
Coaches gifts budget $100 per person
