Favorite CABMA memory?
I don’t think there’s a single event. I just look forward to catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.
Last book you read (title & author)?
The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon
Instagram or Twitter?
Most memorable sporting event attended?
2017 National Championship Game (Clemson vs. Alabama) – no explanation needed
“There are 86,400 seconds in a day. It’s up to you to decide what to do with them.” Jim Valvano
What is one of the greatest aspects of being involved in athletics?
There’s nothing better than having a job where I get to spend my day doing something I love. It is an incredible feeling to know that I’m working at a place that is playing such a huge role in helping the student-athletes’ develop into successful adults. Plus, the enthusiasm and energy of being in a campus setting is something you can’t get anywhere else.
Best piece of professional advice you've received?
I’ve been fortunate to work for some really great people who have given me a lot of great advice so it’s hard to pick the best. Something I was told early on that has stayed with me is to not be too worried about the future. Focus on doing the best possible job in your current role, and good things will happen.
