Clayton Hamilton Position: Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations Institution: University of Colorado

Clayton Hamilton holds the position of Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations with the University of Colorado Department of Athletics. Hamilton has oversight of all financial, information technology, and human resource operations of the department; and responsibilities for administrative oversight of football operations.

Prior to coming to Colorado, Hamilton held the position of Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations at Florida State University, where he managed the financial, information technology, and human resource operations of the department; and assisted with football game-day operations and hosted championships.

Hamilton currently serves as CABMA President and Chair of the Executive Committee. He has previously served as Chair of the Program Committee, Chair of the Membership Committee, and Chair of the Publicity Committee. Hamilton has also represented CABMA as a member of NCAA task forces for risk management and professional development.

Hamilton graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1994 with a BSBA in Accounting and from the United States Sports Academy in 1997 with a MS in Sports Administration. He earned his CPA certification in 1998. Hamilton and his wife, Stephanie, have one daughter, Lauren Elisabeth, and are expecting another child in September.
