We have all heard the phrase, "The Future is Now"
at one time or another. I have seen the phrase in
mission statements, vision statements and various
written forms of communication. It was even
NAAC's theme at the 2009 NAAC Convention. A
theme is an idea used to galvanize an organization or
a concept we can all understand and rally behind.

growth over the last 20 years and NAAC's goal of

The members of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) elected to have Amy Folan, associate athletics director for compliance at the University of Texas at Austin to serve as president during 2009-10. Folan takes over for Judy Van Horn, associate athletics director/senior woman administrator at the University of Michigan who served as President of the Association from January 2008-June 2009.

The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) will host a Strategic Compliance Roundtable with some of the country's top athletics administrators on Friday, June 19 in conjunction with the 2009 National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida.
