The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) has announced that Joseph D'Antonio, Associate Commissioner/Compliance & Governance of the Big East Conference has been named the recipient of the 2009 Frank Kara Leadership Award. D'Antonio will receive his award on Thursday, June 18 in conjunction with the NAAC Convention that is being held on Wednesday-Thursday, June 17-18 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida.

For the second straight year, the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) and the University of Akron School of Law are teaming up to provide a one-hour Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course for attorney's working within NCAA compliance. The hour long session will take place in conjunction with the NAAC Convention that will be on Wednesday-Thursday, June 17-18 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida.
