In conjunction with the inaugural induction class, the McLendon Foundation Steering Committee voted unanimously to name the Mentoring Award after MLB Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig, who has placed diversity and equal employment opportunities as one of his top priorities throughout the years. |
