The 2009-10 John McLendon Postgraduate Scholarship finalists have been announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), today.

Pat O'Conner to Receive Third Annual Allan H. (Bud) Selig Mentoring Award

Pat O'Conner, the president of Minor League Baseball, was voted the recipient of this year's Selig Mentoring Award by the Division I-A Athletics Directors McLendon Scholarship Steering Committee, composed of the 15 minority Division I-A athletics directors.

2010 McLendon Foundation Hall of Fame and Pioneer Award Nominees

Once again, NACDA and the members of the Division I-A Athletics Directors McLendon Minority Scholarship Steering Committee are proud to announce the 3rd Annual John McLendon Minority Athletics Administrators Hall of Fame Induction Class. The 2010 Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at a reception that will take place on Wednesday, June 23 at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel in conjunction with the NACDA Convention. This year's reception emcee will be Gene Washington, 2009 McLendon Hall of Fame inductee, four-time NFL Pro-Bowler and retired NFL director of football operations.

McLendon Foundation Dues Hits $75,000 Mark; Kansas Contributes $10,000

In June 2009, the Division I-A McLendon Scholarship Steering Committee voted to implement voluntary dues for the 2009-10. The dues will help fund the yearly $10,000 McLendon Scholarships that are awarded to minority individuals looking to pursue a career in athletics administration.
