Mary Dienhart, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. She graduated magna cum laude with a double major in journalism and Spanish. In the spring of 2006, Dienhart was named the University of St. Thomas Department of Journalism and Mass Communication's Outstanding Student in Media Studies. At St. Thomas, Dienhart participated on the women's varsity soccer team. During her senior year, she acted as team captain, was voted team MVP and was named first-team all-conference. Dienhart attended the 2003 NCAA Leadership Conference and served as co-president of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee for two years. This past summer, Dienhart was an intern in the University of Minnesota Athletic Compliance Office. She plans on attending law school in the fall of 2007. Dienhart works with the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA), the Division I-AA and I-AAA Athletics Directors Associations, the National Association of Athletics Compliance Coordinators (NAACC) and the National Alliance of Two Year College Athletics Administrators (NATYCAA). She also writes for Athletics Administration and helps compile the Daily Review. She can be reached at nacdaintern@nacda.com.
