Of the many student-athletes who give generously to their community, there are some who go the extra mile when it comes to volunteerism. Through your nomination, you can help recognize and celebrate a student-athlete whose service most embodies the spirit of generosity and volunteerism.

CAMPUS NOMINATIONS--HOW IT WORKS
Here's how to nominate a student-athlete on your campus.

First, the athletics director for your school designates a program administrator (or committee) to help oversee program activation. Then the athletics director and the program administrator(s) determine how the local program will work. Each school has the flexibility to create a nomination and review process, based on their available resources and what works best for them.

Some schools may want to open nominations up to coaches, student-athletes, teams or the entire student body. Other schools may choose to select student-athletes based on existing monthly service requirements. Some athletics directors may simply elect to choose a student-athlete by committee. The program is designed to allow for as much flexibility as possible, allowing each school to celebrate in a manner that supports their community service mission.

In order to make the nomination process even easier, we've created a sample nomination form that may be used to gather information about student-athlete volunteers. Click here for the form.
